Installation Steps

 

1. Hold the ignition wire sheath and turn it to make it disconnected. Do not pull to move the old ignition wire to avoid tearing the ignition wire, the terminal remaining on the spark plug then.
2. Start from the longest ignition wire , only one ignition wire can be removed at a time. The bellows separation device and bracket used in the original car should be used again to ensure the correct path of the replaced ignition wire.
3. Compare the length of the new and old ignition wires. Coat a thin layer of grease on the inner edge of the sheath to prevent the spark plug from sticking.
4. Install the new ignition wire in the order of the cylinder number of the removed ignition wire to prevent erroneous installation.
5. Reinstall the bellows, separators and brackets after completing all new ignition wire installation. Check the path of the new ignition wire to ensure they are not in contact with the engine manifold and away from all extreme heat sources.
6. Try to replace the spark plug at the same time when replacing the ignition wire . If still use the old spark plug, it is necessary to clean the carbon deposit on the ceramic body of the spark plug.
